Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Melton Mowbray

Best Western Sysonby Knoll Hotel

Asfordby Rd, Melton Mowbray LE13 0HP, UK – 01664 563563

This is our 4th trip to the Sysonby Knoll. One of our favorite hotels in our many travels. The food is always excellent, as is the service, the rooms and the location. If you need to stay around Melton Mowbray, this is the place to go. A family run operation for many years and the care they take shows. Locals recommended we stay here and they were right, this place is great.

A long established family owned comfortable small friendly hotel in its own grounds with views over countryside with gardens sloping down to a small river. Very popular with locals for family lunches and evening meals plus business meets. Good quiet smart traditional surroundings with friendly staff. Nice range of freshly cooked food at reasonable prices. Do give it a try. Disabled access to most areas via portable ramps, from onsite car park.

Amore Restaurant

24 Burton St, Melton Mowbray LE13 1AF, UK – 01664 668280

We went here for the first time tonight. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming and friendly. The menu is wonderful - full of Italian delight. The wife of the chef was full of helpful advice especially with a special Venetian wine which turned out to be THE BEST. The meal itself was one of the best Italian meals we have ever had. Go there it's fantastic!!

Had a meal here last night. Superb food, full of flavour and cooked beautifully. Highly recommended, i will be back.

La Torre

1-3 Leicester St, Melton Mowbray LE13 0PP, UK – 01664 500199

Absolutely lovely restaurant with great service. Me and my partner are Vegan and were there with some friends who choose the restaurant. They didn't have a huge selection of vegan food on the menu but they were so helpful to sort it out. We had a starter which the chef came up with from what they had of fresh veggies. Cooked asparagus wrapped in courgette and grilled tomatoes in garlic oil with seasoning. It was really good. Then I had pasta with different vegetables and an amazing tomato sauce. Highly recommend this place for the food and the helpful staff.

A hidden gem. Went for lunch to celebrate my dad's 83rd birthday. Food excellent, service truly exceptional. Will definitely visit again the next time I am in Melton. Great with kids. I cannot compliment them enough!
